Palmers Green railway station, in Aldermans Hill, is in the London Borough of Enfield in north London, in Travelcard Zone 4. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Thameslink and Great Northern.

The station was originally named Palmers Green and Southgate.

There is a regular Sunday Community Market in the station car park.[2] Platform One has a sheltered waiting room. There is a refreshments, coffee and treats kiosk open in the morning on Platform 1. Also, there is a pub opening at the station main entrance.

Services

The service runs to Moorgate on weekdays until about 10.00pm, and into London Kings Cross at night on Mondays to Fridays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Normally the service uses class 313 EMUs, as these are the only units cleared to Moorgate, although on weekends sometimes class 317 EMUs are used instead. The station features a Shere FASTticket self-service ticket machine, accepting cash, debit cards and credit cards.

The typical off-peak weekday service is 3 trains per hour to Moorgate, and 2 trains per hour to Hertford North and one per hour to Letchworth Garden City via Stevenage.

At weekends, the service is a half hourly service to Hertford North and an hourly service to Stevenage and three trains per hour to London Kings Cross.
