Paljassaare is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn (Northern Tallinn), Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is located on the Paljassaare Peninsula in the Tallinn Bay. Paljassaare has a population of 583 (As of 1 January 2014).[1]
Paljassaare Harbour
Paljassaare Harbour is a cargo port, which primarily specialises in handling mixed cargo, coal and oil products, as well as timber and perishables. The harbour is also used for cooking oil shipments by the neighbouring refinery.
The Harbour has an area of 43.6 ha and has 11 berths.
Vessels enter and leave the harbour through a canal (length of canal 800 m, width 90-150m, depth 9.0m)
