Music video

The animated trip to the moon as seen in the music video.

The music video was released on May 28, 2009.[3] The video was directed by Elanna Allen.

In it, the alien pictured in the Wait for Me album cover takes a walk, then it starts to rain. He stops and looks into a puddle. After looking at his reflection for a couple of seconds, he dabs his finger in the puddle. He then draws a complete copy of himself, using the water on his finger. They dance until the copy washes away. The alien then does the same thing, only this time drawing a train with a various passenger car-like attachments. On one of the attachments is a dog, pictured on the single cover for the song. They both take the train to the Moon. After their arrival, the alien draws several duplicates of himself. They, along with the dog, all laugh, play, and dance until it rains and the duplicates wash away. The video concludes with the screen zooming out from the alien, showing a shot of the Milky Way, and then back in. The animation finally fades away to credits. The music video has been critically acclaimed, receiving generally positive reviews. It has been heavily airplayed on VH1 Latin America.
