Palaquium laevifolium is a species of plant in the Sapotaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
numerous, rather small, oblong-lanceolate, tapered ends.
Trunk
B- smooth, gray.
Flowers
brownish white, few, small, in clusters of 2-4 in leaf axils.
Fruits
oblong, sharp-pointed.
Ecology
rain forest canopy of wet zone.

Wood - construction, plywood.
