Palaeocarcharodon orientalis is a Paleocene shark in the family Cretoxyrhinidae.[1] It is possibly the ancestor of the Great White Shark and Megalodon but since the fossil record of Palaeocarcharodon only relies on teeth in many sizes, much is unknown about the size and appearance.
