Padmaraj Ratheesh is an Indian film actor known for his work in Malayalam films.
The son of film actor Ratheesh and Diana, Padmaraj made his debut with the Malayalam film Fireman (2015)[1] in which he played a negative role. Currently he is starring in director G. Marthandan's second directorial venture titled Acha Din[2] in which Mammootty plays the lead role.
Early and personal life
Padmaraj was born to actor Ratheesh and Diana. He has a elder sister Parvathy, younger sister Padma and a younger brother Pranav. Padmaraj graduated in Bachelor of Business Management[3] and was working as floor manager in a retail company at Coimbatore for a couple of years before he quit to look after his ailing mother. His elder sister Parvathy has also stepped into the film industry and is making her debut as the lead heroine opposite Kunchacko Boban in director Sugeeth's next movie titled Madhura Naranga.[4]
Film career
Padmaraj made his debut with the Malayalam film Fireman (2015) in which he played a negative role. The movie stars Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, Nyla Usha in the lead roles. He is currently working in director G. Marthandan's second directorial venture titled Acha Din in which Mammootty plays the lead role. Actor Siddique's son Shaheen Siddique[5] will also play a pivotal role in this movie.
