Padmalaya

Padmalaya is a place in Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India. 'Padmalaya' in Sanskrit "padmasya Alaya" means "Home of Lotus". Padmalaya has a temple of Lord Ganesha which is totally built using stones. There is a pond near to the temple and this pond used to be full of Lotus Flowers. Hence the place got the name of "Padmalaya". Padmalaya is blessed with the two "Swayambhu" Ganesh idols. These idols were "Swayambhu" literally meaning self existed.
