Controversy

Current administration going back to the 2005 school year with Hsinchu American School has had a difficult time retaining employees. Since the inception of PAS, there has been 4 principals in 3 years, with all four not continuing their tenure due to upper management disputes. Additionally, there has been a high turnover of teachers, often citing problems with working conditions and schedules.

Currently the school does not have a functioning school board due to internal disputes and lawsuits. There is also no principal. All decisions are made by the head of the school with no input from the school board.[2]
