Pace del Mela (Sicilian: Paci) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,169 and an area of 12.1 square kilometres (4.7 sq mi).[1]
