PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research
PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established in 1985 at Peelamedu, Coimbatore. It is the first teaching hospital in Tamil Nadu and the third teaching hospital in India to get NABH accreditation. PSG Hospitals, a 1000-bed, tertiary care hospital, is affiliated to the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
The PSG-FAIMER Regional Institute (PSG-FRI), based at the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Coimbatore, India, offers a two-year fellowship program for health professions faculty who have the potential to improve medical education at their schools. Approximately 16 fellowships are offered each year.
