Coordinates: 11°1′57.36″N 77°2′4.43″E / 11.0326000°N 77.0345639°E PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1947 by the managing trustee Sri G.R. Govindarajulu and the founder principal Dr. G.R. Damodaran.
History
PSG College of Arts and Science was started in 1947 by the PSG and Sons Charities Trust which was founded in 1926 by the four sons of P.S. Govindasamy Naidu, the four brothers of the PSG family, Thiru PSG Venkataswamy Naidu, Thiru PSG Rangaswamy Naidu, Thiru PSG Ganga Naidu and Thiru PSG Narayanaswamy Naidu.
Until 1978, the college was affiliated to Madras University; now the college is affiliated to Bharathiar University.

Campus life
Wizards and Heartbeat are the annual inter departmental cultural competitions and Cascall and Euphoria are the annual college cultural competitions. Students from all over Tamil Nadu participate in them as they have high prizes.
Associations like the Mathematics Association, Physics Association and Chemistry Association organise subject-related functions.
Other Associations like Innopreneurs Club, Eco Club, Face Club, Citizen Consumer Club and Nilamutram give extra-curricular activities.
Innopreneurs Club, which is the youngest club in the college till date, conducts iWeek (a 5-day competition cum Bazaar) which encourages students to bring out their innovative and entrepreneurial skills. The 5-day event comprises of E-Quiz, Idea Generation, Business Plan followed by a 2-day Exhibition cum Sale of Innovative products produced by the Students.
The Department of Computer Science organizes a state-level inter-collegiate technical festival, "Gateway," which takes place during February and March. The events are primarily tests of computer technologies and have design-oriented events such as web design.
Motto
"Let there be charity so that other people may share my family's prosperity" said Sri. P.S. Govindasamy Naidu, and it remains as the motto of the college.
