Operations
The train was first unveiled on 15 June 2009 and was labeled "PNR Filtrack". It is subsequently used for Metro Commuter trains running from Tutuban to Bicutan and then to Sucat and finally, on April 19, 2010 it was extended to Alabang.
Since 2012 it was suffering overloading of the train, and it caused several breakdowns.

Incidents and Accidents
- On April 29, 2011, a truck of soft drinks collided with a DMU train in a railroad crossing near Bicutan railway station.[2]
- On May 19, 2014 a DMU train collided with a jeepney in the Balic-Balic railroad crossing while operating a southbound train. A person was dead and more than 6 are injured. The accident caused delays in the train operations.
- On May 27, 2014 a DMU train broke down due to a problem in air pressure while operating Train 1430 in San Andres railway station. The driver, named Shrane, said[3] that air needed to run the train failed to load.
