PANDOO introduces a totally new way to entertainment.

PANDOO[1] is the world's first Personal Cloud Computer (PCC) developed by the Vancouver-based Company Pandoo TEK Inc.[2] in BC, Canada. In a few words, PANDOO, is a Web-based O/S that turns any web browser into a powerful cloud computer. PANDOO is the evolution of the personal computing as we know it today since it disengages the devices resources and uses the merits of the cloud and the web.

History

The project was launched in March 2013 by the founder, Michael Patellis.[3] Michael originally wanted to build a unified web-based medical and health platform and George Delaportas was trying to interconnect web programming languages with an intermediate programming meta-language, the ALPHA Script.[4] Once Michael and George met, they refocused their efforts on building a web-based operating system to harness the power and dynamics of the Cloud and the web and put their perspectives in a bigger context. The prototype/DEMO has been released in the mid-December 2013. The name "PANDOO", which means everywhere in Greek, is Michael's idea. So far PANDOO is very limited and has only a few thousands of users but the team expects that millions of users will eventually use PANDOO down the road.

Key features

PANDOO provides certain unique key features:[5]

Design, hardware compatibility

PANDOO runs entirely on the sandbox of a web browser and thus it is hardware agnostic. This is one of the most powerful features of PANDOO since it can run nearly on any device that has access to the Internet. PANDOO is compatible with all major web browsers.

DEMO reviews, response

So far through the PANDOO's suggestion box and the feedback from the groups in the social media, the development team has got very constructive comments.
