The Pégase class was type of 74-gun ships, designed by engineer Antoine Groignard.[2] It comprised six ships:[1]

- Fate: Captured by HMS Queen in 1782; deleted in 1815

- Fate: Captured at the Battle of Cape Noli; retaken in the Action of 7 October 1795; sold at Cadiz in June 1799

- Launched: 16 February 1782
- Fate: Burnt at the end of the Siege of Toulon. Raised in 1805 and scrapped in 1808.

- Fate: Surrendered to the British by her Royalist crew during the Siege of Toulon; flew to England at the fall of the city; became a hulk in Portsmouth and Spithead; scrapped in 1816.

- Fate: Burnt at the end of the Siege of Toulon. Raised in 1805 and scrapped in 1806.
