Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport or Billy Bishop Regional Airport, (IATA: YOS, ICAO: CYOS), is located 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) east of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada in the Municipality of Meaford. The airport is named for World War I flying ace Billy Bishop.
The airport is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency. CBSA officers at this airport currently can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.[1]
In November 2009, the Toronto City Centre Airport renamed itself after Billy Bishop, creating confusion with this airport.
