Owen Klassen (born October 31, 1991) is a Canadian professional basketball player who last played for MZT Skopje.

He played university basketball at Acadia University and is a member of Canada national basketball team.

Professional career

In September 2014, Owen started his professional career overseas at Macedonian Adriatic League team MZT Skopje Aerodrom, at the time coached by Zmago Sagadin.[1] His contract was terminated by mutual agreement in March 2015, after it was prognosed that a full recovery from an already lengthy back injury of his would last longer then previously expected.[2]

Style of play

Owen developed his excellent agility, ball handling and shooting ability as a youth on the community outdoor court near his home, known as "the cage". These guard like skills have given Owen tremendous upside as a professional basketball player as he's grown into his 6'10 frame.
