"Over My Shoulder" is a pop rock song by English supergroup Mike + The Mechanics. It was released in February 1995 as the first single from their album Beggar on a Beach of Gold. Sung by Paul Carrack, it was the most successful single from that album, peaking at No.12 on UK Singles Chart.[1] Although it failed to crack the UK Top 10, the song became perhaps the band's biggest radio hit.[2] Co-lead vocalist Paul Young, who was foremost on the single's artwork, played rhythm guitar on the track.
Video
The music video, which features Nick Pickard (of Hollyoaks), and Tom Fletcher from the British band McFly as a little boy in a classroom, was shot on the village green at Chiddingfold on The Weald in Waverley, Surrey, England.
