Ovčiarsko Tunnel

Ovčiarsko Tunnel is a planned highway tunnel in northern Slovakia between Bytča and Žilina, on the D1 highway. The tunnel will be 2,275 m long.

Currently, there is only an exploration gallery, which was driven from 1996 to 1998.

The opening date of the tunnel is unknown, although there are plans to open it in 2011.
