Out of the Darkness (Retrospective: 1994–1999) is a reissue by Midnight Syndicate, released June 4, 2006, by Entity Productions. The majority of the album consists of re-recorded versions of songs from the out of print albums Midnight Syndicate (1997), Born of the Night (1998), Realm of Shadows (2000). The album also includes several songs from Edward Douglas' film The Dead Matter (1996) and a previously unreleased track, "Prisoner of Time" from Gavin Goszka. The track Into The Abyss is featured as an outtro on the Misfits live album, Dead Alive!.[1][2]
