The Ottawa West Golden Knights are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team based in Ottawa, Ontario. They play in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
History
Easily the most powerful team in the Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League in recent years, the Golden Knights have won five league championships in eight seasons. Their greatest challenge to date may have been the Westport Rideaus in the 2005-06 playoffs. The Rideaus had the Golden Knights pinned down and against the wall 3--to-2 in the final, but the Golden Knights battled back and took the last two nail-biters to win their fourth title.
The Golden Knights recently had a banner year for the 2008-2009 season by winning the D. Arnold Carson trophy for the 6th time in the team's history and its 5th league championship in 8 years. The Knights also captured the 2008 Boxing Day Tournament title.
2012-2013 Looks to be a rebuild year for the Knights after losing 3 Top Defensemen in Neil Clarke, Mitch Fournier and Sebastien Dubus,Goaltender Jacob Blair who is now playing for the Ottawa 67's and a Top Forward in Ben Minkus. The Knights look strong out of the gates going 7-4-0 in 11 Games.

- August 21, 2012. The Ottawa West Golden Knights trade the playing rights of Josh Colley to the Ottawa Junior Canadians to complete the trade of 6-Jan-12(Sebastien Dubus)
- September 5, 2012. The Ottawa West Golden Knights trade the playing rights of Dylan Scott to the Perth Blue Wings for future considerations.
- September 8, 2012. The Ottawa West Golden Knights trade the playing rights of Troy Disipio, Joey Romano, Riley Shore and future considerations to the Almonte Thunder for the playing rights to Adam Fulton.
- September 12, 2012. The Ottawa Junior Canadians trade the playing rights of Josh Colley to the Ottawa West Golden Knights for future considerations.
