Orostachys is a genus of Crassulaceae that contains 14 accepted species. [1] It is a biennial herb growing in China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Mongolia, Russia. Eight species occur in China.[2]

Ecology

Orostachys' leaves are linear to ovate, often with dull purple dots. Its roots are fibrous and it has no rhizome. [2] The flowering stem is solitary, arising from the center of the rosette in the second year. The stem leaves are alternate.
