Orocrambus machaeristes is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1905.[1] It is found in New Zealand, where it has been recorded from the north-western Nelson Province, south along the southern Alps to Lake Wakatipu. The habitat consists of alpine areas.
The wingspan is 19-25 mm. The forewings grey, sprinkled with white and dark brown. The hindwings are greyish white.[2]
