Orion Consort
The Orion Consort is an early music ensemble specialising in Medieval and Renaissance music. The consort was formed in Sydney, Australia by Daniel Cooper to further study and promote pre-Baroque music.
A wide range of period style instruments such as gemshorns, crumhorns, shawms, recorders along with many others are used in performance.
Although the core membership of the consort consists of a small number of artists, the consort is regularly complemented by guest artists for various projects.
