Oriental Institute of Technology (OIT; Chinese: 亞東技術學院; pinyin: Yàdōng Jìshù Xuéyuàn) is a private university in Banqiao District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

History

OIT was originally founded as Oriental Academy of Industrial Technology in 1968. In 1973, the academy was renamed Oriental Academy of Industry. In 2000, it went restructuring to become Oriental Institute of Technology.^[1]
