Anthem of the Orenburg State University

Lyricist: Y. Belousov
Music: V. Litvinov

In the steppe land, the meandering of the Urals,
Where he grew up the glorious city of Orenburg,
There was an idea and became a fertile -
To erect a temple of culture and science.

Future generations willing
Love the motherland, believe in the light of knowledge,
Hard to break down all barriers,
We founded the university.

To the recognition of the path is always long and thorny,
We go forward in time to the tune.
United and became very dear to us
Our sweet home - a favorite OSU.

Appreciate the talent and golden hands.
Students uncover treasures.
Plough field for a young science,
Reliable support in life give.

Give strength to all and a little luck!
Leave in the affairs of big aspirations trail!
Good luck, victories and inspiration,
Our Orenburg University!
