Orange is an unincorporated community in Orange Township, Fayette County, Indiana. In the town there is a very small elementary school that will be closing down after the 2010-2011 school year. The town has a population of less than 150 people.
History
Orange was platted in 1824.[3] It took its name from Orange Township.[4] A post office was established at Orange in 1826, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1908.[5]
