It currently enrolls children from pre-sessional kindergarten through to year 12. The school offers a wide range of subjects, and focuses on art and music. From halfway through Class Three to the same time in Year Four, students participate in the String Program, in which all students play either the violin, viola or the cello for at least a year. From year one to the end of year three, students learn both German and Japanese. In year four, they make a descision based on dropping one of the languages. They stay with with the undropped language until year 8. After that, the students either continue with their chosen language, or they do cultural studies. Some students also learn a different language altogether. Orana is a small school, and is the only school for Rudolf Steiner Education in the ACT and the students are not required to wear a uniform.
