Orahov Do (also Orahovi Do, Orovi Do, Cyrillic Орахов До; literal translation is "walnut dale") is a village in Ravno municipality Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was formerly part of the Trebinje municipality, up until the Bosnian War. It is only a few kilometers away from the border with Croatia on the road from the Adriatic coast to Popovo polje. It was the birthplace of Ragusan merchant Nikola Bošković, father of famed astronomer Ruđer Bošković.
History
The village is mentioned in Ragusan documents dating to 1408 (as Orachouo dol[1]) and 1414 (as Oracouodol[2][3]).
Demographics
The village is inhabited by a Croat majority and Serb minority. In the 1991 census, the village had 42 residents, including:[4]

- 4 (9.52%) Serbs
