Open Source Software World Challenge

The Open Source Software World Challenge (OSSWC) is the annual competition hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy of Korea. This competition is mainly intended to promote open source software and expand various exchanges among open source software developers all over the world.

Overview

The competition invites Open Source Software developers from all over the world to participate at the competition with projects they have been developing within one year even though they got a prize from another competition with their software.

Criteria of Participation

The competition is open to everyone. However, participants under the age of 12 must obtain parental permission in order to qualify for the contest.
