Opatovce
Opatovce ( Hungarian: Vágapáti ) is a village and municipality in Trenčín District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.
Opatove was voted Slovakia's best village in Slovakia's best village competition in 1956
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 204 metres and covers an area of 2.898 km². It has a population of about 395 people.
