Only in Miami

"Only in Miami" is a song by Bette Midler, which first appeared on her sixth studio album No Frills and then later on her 1993 greatest hits album Experience the Divine. The song tells of a sad girl in Miami who longs to be back in her native Cuba. The song is a jolly Latino upbeat song compared to some of the more sombre Midler classics such as Wind Beneath My Wings and From A Distance. In 1984 it was used in the pilot episode of Miami Vice titled Brother's Keeper. It was written by Max Gronenthal (later of .38 Special fame) and Scott Delawanna.
