Production

Background

As with other Mystery songs, "One Among the Living" and "Between Love and Hate" were two songs that had been written years prior, with "One Among the Living" being written around the time of Destiny?.[3]

Recording

One Among the Living is the first Mystery album created entirely digitally. Previous Mystery albums were recorded on analog tape and either mixed on tape as well, or in the case of Beneath the Veil of Winter's Face, transferred to a computer from ADAT and mixed.[4]
