Omar Figueroa (born December 13, 1989 in Weslaco, Texas) is an undefeated American professional boxer in the Lightweight division.[1]

Omar Figueroa is a former WBC Lightweight world title holder, being named champion after Adrien Broner was stripped of the title.[2] After two successful defences, Figueroa would vacate the title before moving up to the light-welterweight division.[3]

Omar's first professional bout was a win by K.O. in Mexico that isn't counted on his official record. On January 6, 2012 Figueroa obtained an upset T.K.O. victory over undefeated Puerto Rican American Michael Pérez, this bout was televised on Showtime.[5]
