Oliver Russell (born 14 March 1990 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish footballer who is currently playing for East Superleague side Musselburgh Athletic. He has previously played for Hibernian and Berwick Rangers.

Career

Hibernian

Russell was signed by Hibernian at the age of 12. He was part of the Hibernian team that won the Scottish Youth League and Cup double in 2008–09. Russell was captain of team for Youth Cup final which was to be his final game. He was released in the summer of 2009.

Scotland

He represented Scotland from ages 15–18. Being involved in Victory Shield and European Championships.

Berwick Rangers

In August 2009 he signed for Berwick Rangers. He played 13 times and scored 1 goal. He left at end of 2009-10 season.

Musselburgh Athletic

In October 2010 he signed for Musselburgh Athletic. During this time he was part of the successful Musselburgh side that reached the Junior Cup Final where they were narrowly defeated by Auchinlek Talbot at Rugby Park.
