Oleg Kozhemyako

Oleg Nikolayevich Kozhemyako (Russian: Оле́г Никола́евич Кожемя́ко), born 17 March 1962, is the Governor of Amur Oblast of Russia. He was appointed to that post on October 20, 2008.[1] Previously, Kozhemyako was the Governor of Koryak Autonomous Okrug. He was elected to that post on April 15, 2005, and held it until the okrug merged with Kamchatka Oblast on June 30, 2007.

On October 14, 2012, after direct elections of governors were restored, Kozhemyako run for re-election. He was re-elected, collecting over 76% of the votes.[2]
