State Route 297 is a north–south state highway in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its southern terminus is at its interchange with U.S. Routes 30 and 62 in Canton, and its signed northern terminus is at State Route 172 at the intersection of Raff Avenue and Tuscarawas Street in western Canton. SR 297 continues, unmarked, 0.5 miles (0.80 km) west along SR 172 to its intersection with Whipple Avenue.[1][1]
SR 297 previously extended further north by following Whipple Avenue north to Everhard Road west, where it then ended at Interstate 77's Exit #109.
On some online mapping services[2][3] , it may be erroneously co-signed with Ohio State Route 791, which was a former number for the signed part of the route.
