State Route 169 (SR 169) is a state highway in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio that is signed northsouth, but trends more eastwest. The southern (eastern) terminus of State Route 169 is at a signalized intersection with U.S. Route 422 just east of Niles. The northern (western) terminus of the highway is following a concurrency with U.S. Route 422 at a signalized intersection with State Route 45 in Warren.

Route description

The entirety of State Route 169 exists within Trumbull County. No part of this route is inclusive within the National Highway System, a system of highways deemed most important for the country's economy, defense and mobility.[2]

History

State Route 169 was created in 1924 along the alignment within Trumbull County that it maintains to this day. No significant changes have occurred to the routing of this highway since its inception.[3][4]
