Ogilvy CommonHealth Asia Pacific (OCH AP) is a healthcare specialist communications firm dealing primarily with pharmaceutical and medical companies in Asia and Oceania.[2] It is a subsidiary of British-American advertising and public relations agency Ogilvy & Mather.

Background

Ogilvy CommonHealth was formed in 2012 [2] in an attempt to consolidate Ogilvy & Mather's operations in the Asia Pacific region, which previously consisted of multiple brands including CommonHealth and Healthworld[1] as a result of several market acquisitions.

OCH AP is specifically focused on unifying the WPP Group's healthcare advertising businesses across the Asia pacific region, which the company's Regional Managing Director, Mr Rohit Sahgal, has said "forces [OCH AP]... to find a new way, to uncover an insight that is universal in application and precise in its expression. Utilising digital & social skills and tools to enhance our client's & brands reputation in the market" [3] Essentially, the company is still in the process of organising their business-structure with regards to the regulatory and demographic differences across the region.

Notable activities

In 2014, OCH AP organised a major advertisement campaign for Aspen in Australia.[4]
