Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni (also spelled Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni) is a Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria, with its capital at Omoku. It is part of the Ogba / Ebgema / Ndoni / Ahoada West constituency of the Nigerian House of Representatives.[1]

Population

The Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni Local Government Area is inhabited by the three tribes Ogba, Egbema and Ndoni people. The Egbema, Ogba and Ndoni. The Ndonis are a pure stock of Ndokwa people of Delta State.

They are great farmers and fishermen with a rich cultural history. The area has produced prominent sons and daughters, which includes Prof. Claude Ake, Felix Obuah, Hon. Chief Victor Masi (former Minister for Finance, Nigeria), Senator Francis J. Ellah, Chief C. D. Orike, Dr. Peter Odili (former Governor of Rivers State), Chief Ifeanyi Odili (the Onwa of Ndoni), Late Chief Valentine Akponor LLB. (Hons) LLM (Lond.) Chief G. U. Ake,Olisa Akponor, Senator Wilson Ake amongst others.[2]
