The Alpine Grayling (Oeneis glacialis) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Alps on heights of 1400 to 2900 meters above sealevel.
The wingspan is 50–56 mm. The butterflies are on wing from June to August depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Festuca species.
