Oduduwa University is located in Ipetumodu, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. It was established in 2009 and is a private university.^[1] The University is located at Ipetumodu, a town in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State. It Iis just 6 kilometres away from Ile Ife. The University which occupies about 100 hectares of land, is stategically located on Ife - Ibadan express road, and it can be accessed from al the nearby States of Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Edo and Lagos.VISION The vision of the University is “to provide a well - balanced education without discrimination, for the production of versatile graduates with capacity for entrepreneurship for the development of the nation.”

MISSION The mission of the University is “to create a learning environment for students as well as to cultivate and nurture the qualities of human beings with a view to contributing towards meeting the economic, scientific and technological needs of humanity.”

PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of the University is the technological growth and development of man in the society with a view to becoming self-reliant so that individuals can contribute to the advancement of the nation in particular and the world in general.

GOAL To produce qualified and high level manpower through training and to ensure that students go through programmes of self developmental education which are competitive and international in content.

OBJECTIVES (i) To provide equal opportunity to all qualified students for quality education in technology. (ii) To carry out research which can engender effective and efficient use of our natural resources for the benefit of mankind. (iii) To provide new career opportunities for young people. (iv) To produce graduates of international standard. (v) To strive to replace imported technology with local technology and thus make Nigeria technologically the leading nation in Africa. (vi) To enhance the development of sound moral values which have been seriously impaired and dented in most existing institutions of higher learning and by so doing eliminate students' unrest, vandalism and cultism.

Chief Dr Ramon A. Adedoyin

was born on the first of January, 1957 to the families of Alhaji S A Adedoyin of lukohun Akui Royal Family, Ile Ife, (Decendants of the Geisi Ruling House). Osun State and Alhaja B A Adedoyin of Ijaruwa Compound in Ile Ife, Osun State. He attended An sarul Islam Primary School, Ile Ife, Oduduwa College, Ile Ife. University of Ife, All Saints University, Centurion International University. Dr Adedoyin has B.Sc (Mathematics) Education, M.Sc Mathematics Education, D.Sc Science Education, and PhD (Educational Administration). While he was an undergraduate, young Adedoyin established a remedial school called Universal Tutorial College. The Tutorial College methamophosed to Universal College of Technology, which was later changed to The Polytechnic. Ile Ife. is also the founder of Oduduwa University. The University has been best described in Nigerian as the University of choice because of the way the Yoruba Nation accepted it as our University. Also to Adedoyin's credit is Our Saviors University in the state of Delaware in USA. An America approved non for profit online University with its base in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Chief Dr. Ramon Adedoyin is also the founder of ODUDUWA COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES, LAGOS & ABUJA. Visitor to Oduduwa University: His Imperial Majesty Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II. He is one of the foremost traditional rulers, whose quest for qualitative education is immeasurable. Oba Okunade Sijwuade is a visible ambassador for the Nigerian people both home and abroad. He is a visitor to many Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria and some other African Countries. PROF. (MRS) OLAJUMOKE A. OLAYIWOLA' S BIOGRAPHY Prof. (Mrs) Olajumoke A. Olayiwola was born on 15 May 1971 to the families of Engr. Lateef A. Oladipo of Onikedu's Compound, Ede, Osun State and Mrs Olalonpe M. Oladipo of the Royal families of Daodu Oja Timi in Ede, Osun State. She attended Township Primary School Jos, Plateau State, Obaseeku High School Eruwa, Oyo State. She had her B.Sc Chemistry (Second Class Upper Division), M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry (Ph.D grade) Ph.D Analytical/Environmental Chemistry , all from the University of Ibadan and PGDE from the National Teachers' Institute, Kaduna. PRIZES AND AWARDS She was the best overall academic student during the last four years consecutively at Obaseeku High School, Eruwa and was also given a prize as the best comportment student. She was the best Analytical Chemistry student at the M.Sc degree class. WORK EXPERIENCE She has worked as a Chemistry teacher at Baptist Model High School, Ilorin, Kwara State, as a Quality Control Analyst at Sam Pharmaceutical Limited, Ilorin, Kwara State, as a lecturer at Applied Sciences Department, Osun State Polytechnic Iree and presently as a lecturer at Chemical Sciences Department, Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ile-Ife. She has enriched academic and administrative exposure which include Member Publication and Research Committee, Member Faculty Seminar Committee, Chairperson Examination and Time-table Committee, Coordinator Applied Sciences Department, Faculty Coordinator for Student Registration, Chairperson Female Students Hostel Committee, Head of Department Industrial Chemistry, Member Accreditation and Resource Inspection Committee, Chairperson Strategy, Innovation and Development Committee, Provost College of Environmental Designs and Management, Director Academic Planning and Quality Assurance. She has both international and national publications in reputable journals. She has attended both national and international conferences. MEMBERSHIP OF PROFESSIONAL BODIES She is a member of Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria, Waste Management Society of Nigeria, and Chemical Society of Nigeria. MARRIAGE LIFE She is happily married to Mr. Rahaman Tunde Olayiwola, CEO of RTO Agric Nigeria Limited and blessed with children. Her hobbies include reading, cooking and playing volley ball.
