Oblates of Notre Dame

The Oblates of Notre Dame (OND) is a religious congregation based in Cotabato City, Philippines.

Founded November 10, 1956 in Cotabato City, by two missionaries of Oblates of Mary Immaculate who came to Manila in 1939: Fathers George Dion and Gerard Mongeau.

The congregation consists of around 167 sisters and is engaged in different ministries depending on they were stationed and their call to service is needed. Many sisters are working as parish sisters and help in diocesan offices for the good for the local diocese. They are managing schools or helping in schools such as campus ministers especially among Notre Dame schools in the Philippines.

There are many sisters involved in the active ministries of the Church as Justice, Peace and Integrity of creation or JPIC, Reconciliation, Child Peace Learning Center,Migrants & Itinerant People,Dialogue of Life, action and religions particularly with Moro Communities in Mindanao and Sulu, advocating alternative education and promotion of rights among indigenous peoples.
