OSVehicle – Tabby
OSVehicle – TABBY is an open source platform for vehicles.[1] The project is released under Creative Commons BY-SA license and the CAD files can be downloaded from the official website.[2] The chassis can be assembled in less than 45 minutes[3][4][5] and is able to carry two to four passengers.[6]
Goal and challenges
The goal of the project is to enable new businesses by lowering the barrier to entry in the vehicles market, through a universal and versatile platform.[7][8]
Engines
TABBY is compatible with electric motors, hybrid and internal combustion engines.
Urban TABBY
Urban TABBY[9][10] is the first road-legal framework based on TABBY.
