The OEC Taipei Ladies Open was a tournament for female professional tennis players played on indoor carpet courts. The event was classified as an ITF $100,000 Tournament. It was held annually in Taipei City, Taiwan, from 2008 until 2011. In 2012 the ITF tournament was discontinued. In its stead came the WTA Challenger tournament Taipei WTA Ladies Open.
History
The tournament was first played in 1997 at the same venue. It made its return in 2008, when it became an ITF $100,000+H Tournament.
The OEC Group became the event's sponsor in 2008.
