Nyavani village is situated along R81 Punda Maria Road on the way to Kruger national park. The nearest towns is Malamulele and Thohoyadou. Nyavani falls under Thulamela Municipality. The language which is being spoken in the area is Tsonga(by vatsonga people). There are two schools at Nyavani, which is the high school (Dlamani high) and the primary(Nyavani primary school)
