Nyangana is a village in the Kavango East Region of north-eastern Namibia, situated 100 kilometres (62 mi) east of Rundu.[1] The settlement is named after Nyangana, king of the Gciriku tribe. Within the village, there are one Combined School and a private Roman Catholic hospital. The hospital was founded in 1936 by the OSB sisters of Tutzing, this was then the only hospital for the whole Kavango Region.[1] The village features a hotel and a Youth Center. The vegetation type is thorn bush dominated by acacia trees.
