Nusajaya is a regional city, located west of Johor, Malaysia. IskandarInvestment.com says: "Just under half of the entire Nusajaya landbank is being developed by UEM Land Berhad, a wholly owned subsidiary of UEM Land Holdings Berhad."[1]

Kota Iskandar (Johor State New Administrative Centre (JSNAC))

The JSNAC at Nusajaya houses the Johor State and Federal government department offices and spans over 320 acres (1.3 km²) with landscaped gardens and parks. The components are the Dewan Negeri Johor – State Assembly, Menteri Besar & State Secretary Complex, Dataran Mahkota ceremonial plaza and the State Government Departments Complex that has been completed since 2009. Phase 2 is due to be completed by 2012 includes the development of the mosque and government quarters. Phase 3 will house the Federal Government Department Complex.

Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SiLC)

SiLC is a 1,372 acre (5.6 km²) industrial park with close proximity to two international airports and cargo hubs as well as four seaports both in Johor and Singapore.

Puteri Harbour

Here is a marina development that spans 687 acres (2.8 km²) on the Straits of Johor. This waterfront precinct is still under development (Jan 2015), and houses a marina, a ferry terminal, fashioned after the French Riviera.

A commercial development and a marina-front pedestrian area with restaurants is open.

Puteri Harbour’s development components comprise waterfront residential (waterfront properties), commercial development (offices and retail shops), FAME ( Food & beverage outlets, Arts, Music and Entertainment), transportation hub (water transport terminal for water taxis and ferry, bus terminal, tram and LRT station), a marina (berthing, chandlery and accommodation facilities for boaters, yachters, boat/yacht charter owners/operators and water sports owners/operators) and a Cultural Park initiated and owned by the Johor State Government.

EduCity

EduCity, is a 600-acre (2.4 km²) education enclave. Located within the enclave are a medical school (Newcastle University, UK), Raffles University (Singapore-Malaysia) and a private primary and secondary school on a 90-acre campus with sporting facilities (Marlborough College, UK). The University of Southampton (UK) will soon also be opening a campus on this site.[2]

Medical City

The Medical Park spans over 67 acres (270,000 m2). The Columbia Asia Hospital has been completed, which includes a health screening centre, general practitioners’ suites complex and specialists’ suites complexes.

International attraction

Three theme parks are located within this zone including, Legoland Malaysia, Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park that include Hello Kitty Town (first outside Japan), Little Big Club & Lat's Place.

Nusajaya Residences

Townships such as Nusa Sentral, Taman Universiti, Nusa Indah, Taman Nusa Bestari Jaya, East Ledang, Ledang Heights, Nusa Idaman, Nusa Bayu, Nusa Bestari, Nusa Bestari 2, Bukit Indah and Horizon Hills are located within this zone.
