Nurse Callan
Nurse Callan is a fictional character in James Joyce's novel Ulysses. She is a nurse at the National Maternity Hospital. She is described as a "virgin" and attends to a local woman, Mina Purefoy. She is described as brushing a Dr O'Hare's coat attentively.
