Muhammad Nurridzuan Abu Hassan (born 20 April 1992) is a Malaysian footballer. Currently he plays for Perak FA.

Club career

Nurridzuan began his career at Perak FA youth team setup. In 2011, he was drafted into the senior squad, appearing in 15 league games.[2] In the 2012 season, Nurridzuan was not listed in the Super League squad, and only played for the Perak President Cup squad. As captain of that squad, he led the team to the 2012 President Cup championship, scoring 7 goals in the competition including the winning goal in the final against Betaria FC.[3] As a result, he along with 2 more players of that squad were drafted into the senior squad for the rest of the campaign.[4]

The President Cup squad, as Perak U-23 squad, also played in the 2012 Sukma Games football tournament in Pahang, where Nurridzuan and the team achieved silver medal when they were defeated 3-0 in the final by Sabah after extra time.[5]

On November 2012 Nurridzuan was offered to join Harimau Muda A team, the Malaysian national under-21 team (at the time playing in S.League), along with his Perak teammate Kenny Pallraj starting from the 2013 season, and later Perak FA agreed to release both players to Harimau Muda A.[6][7]

After 2 years with the Harimau Muda squad, Nurridzuan returned to Perak FA for the 2015 season.

International career

Due to his good performances in the President Cup, Nurridzuan, along with his Perak teammate Kenny Pallraj was called by Harimau Muda A head coach Ong Kim Swee to join the Harimau Muda A squad for the VFF Newspaper Cup 2012 friendly tournament.[8] He made his debut for the national under-21 squad in the tournament, and was instrumental in helping the team win the tournament, supplying the assist for the winning goal by Ahmad Hazwan Bakri in the final as Malaysia beat Vietnam U-21 squad 1-0.[9][10][11]
