Nucella emarginata, common name the emarginate dog winkle, is a species of medium-sized predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

Description

The adult shell size of this species can reach 25 mm or 30 mm

Distribution

This species is distributed between the Bering Sea and Pacific Mexico.
